Description

Our Go Surf 180-litre x 260cm x 83cm x 13.7kg windsurfing board has minimal rocker curvature to ensure maximum use of its waterline length, permitting it to glide in light winds, making the ride enjoyable and efficient combined with ideal width for high levels of stability. Its high volume of 160-litre is achieved mainly through width and thickness.

A progressive hull scoop guarantees a stable, fast rise onto the plane performance and efficient gliding at low speeds, while the rounded pintail assists gybing during the learning phase. The soft and comfortable EVA full-pad upper decking and rails make for a low-impact board when falling and protect the board from impact damage.

Equipped with a fully retracting foot-operated daggerboard, this allows you to sail with the daggerboard directly downwards for ease of upwind sailing or to be angled backwards gradually as you sail off the wind, and finally, it can be fully raked back into the hull recess. This is also useful for avoiding grounding in shallow waters. Recommended sail range, 2.0m-7.0m.

The EVA all-over deck and rail coverage protects both rider and board from damage, and the nose has an 8mm thickness to absorb impacts. Constructed as an epoxy laminated board, the hull underside is fabricated from ABS plastic, known for its durability and ability to withstand impact while providing rigidity. This makes it suitable for commercial use by schools, resorts, and rental providers.

A convenient open-grip nose handle can also tie off the board in the water or act as a towing point, while a rear grab handle makes it easy to launch and return to the beach. If desired, foot strap plugs are generously spread over the deck for foot strap attachment. A power box is used with power-box fins.

The 180-litre Go Surf windsurfing board is the perfect shape to learn and progress to intermediate levels of windsurfing. A superb entry board into windsurfing up to intermediate-performance sailing levels for riders between 55 and 100kg and learning high-wind skills perfectly suited to our Go Surf windsurfing rigs.
